The transitions associated with new ownership were slight and were well accepted by clients. Dr. Howard and the staff continue serving small animal and pocket pets ranging from large dogs to pet mice. The clinic has explored expansion to large animals and are now accepting large animals on a case by case basis. Dr. Howard & Tammy have also added an ultrasound machine as well as a laser surgical unit! BUT remarkably have kept their prices down! Dr. Howard and Tammy were delighted to meet community members at the Open House and hope to meet you at the next public event. They are enchanted with Akron and are proud to call it home. |

Akron Animal Clinic was purchased in 2006 from Dr. Kerry Deardorff who retired after 27 years of service to the community. Dr. Deardorff and his wife attended the Open House to visit with past clients and show support for the new ownership. Dr. Bill N. Howard, Jr. is an accomplished vet with over a decade of veterinarian experience and holds two Bachelor degrees in the field.
